RENOVATE, DON’T RELOCATE
What Is a Home Renovation?
Renovating in Noosa is often the smart alternative to selling or rebuilding. Whether it is a dated kitchen in a Noosaville townhouse, a full transformation of a Noosa Heads residence, or opening up a Sunshine Beach home to the coastal outlook it deserves, we update the design, layout and finishes while keeping the character and location you bought the place for. From single rooms to whole homes, the result is a house that works for how you live now.

NOOSA HEADS
A substantial renovation and extension in Noosa Heads, reworking the upstairs and widening spaces throughout to make the whole home accessible. The owners are repeat clients: Steven built their house ten years earlier, and when a complicated renovation came up they say he was the only builder they would use. Their words, not ours, below.
NOOSA HEADS
A full renovation of an eighties unit in Noosa Heads, taken right back and rebuilt as a calm, light coastal interior with white panelled walls.
NOOSA HEADS
A new kitchen, three bathrooms and the laundry in a Noosa Heads home, finished with a marble waterfall island, custom timber joinery and brass tapware.
SUNSHINE BEACH
A renovation of a coastal home in Sunshine Beach, rearranging the living areas and reworking the kitchen, bedrooms and bathrooms.
NOOSAVILLE
A townhouse renovation in Noosaville covering the kitchen, bathrooms, laundry and floors, with a full repaint. Finished with a stone island, finger tile splashback and oak flooring.
NOOSA HEADS
A full renovation and extension just back from Hastings Street, adding a timber pergola and built in barbecue for year round outdoor living.
“Having Steve build our home 10 years ago, when we needed to do a substantial renovation to make our house accessible, we knew he would be the only builder we would use. The team was professional, courteous, detail oriented and punctual. The end result is beautiful and we are extremely happy clients. It is rare to go through a very complicated renovation process and to come out on the other side as very good friends!”
GROSVENOR OWNERS, RENOVATION IN NOOSA HEADSRenovation FAQs
-
Every renovation is priced on scope, and two projects on the same street can be worlds apart. Structural changes and extensions cost more than cosmetic updates, and finishes move the number most of all: the same kitchen layout can double in cost depending on the stone, joinery and appliances you choose. What we promise is a detailed, accurate price before contract, so the number you agree to is the number you pay. Start with a complimentary consultation and you'll walk away with a realistic range for what you have in mind.
-
It depends on scope. Single rooms are typically measured in weeks, whole home renovations in months. Once we've scoped your project we map out the timeline with you before work starts, and keep you updated against it throughout.
-
For smaller projects, usually yes, and we stage the work to keep disruption down. For whole home renovations most clients choose to move out. We will give you an honest answer at the first site visit.
-
Cosmetic updates generally do not need approval. Structural changes, extensions and some works in character or coastal areas usually do. We manage the approvals process with Noosa Council (or your local council) from start to finish.
-
Yes, this is normal for us. Many of our clients renovate their Noosa property from Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane. You get regular photo and video updates, scheduled calls and a single point of contact.
-
If the bones of the house are good, a renovation usually wins on cost and time. If the layout, slab or orientation is fundamentally wrong, a rebuild can be better value. We do both, so you get a straight answer, not a sales pitch. See our knock down rebuild service.
