Four George

A knock down rebuild on a corner block in Noosaville, replacing a tired single level cottage. The owners wanted a modern, lightweight home with a self contained guest house for visiting family, delivered in weathered Accoya timber and Corten weathered steel.

Racquet Retreat

A knock down rebuild across two riverfront blocks in Noosa Heads, replacing an eighties house and its early 2000s neighbour with one home of rendered forms and stone that won the 2013 Master Builders House of the Year. The brief was a luxury, fully self contained resort style holiday house for the owners and their extended family. The name gives away the survivor: the original tennis court stayed.

Yes, both the demolition and the new build involve approvals, and the requirements vary block by block with zoning and overlays. We manage the whole approvals process with Noosa Council (or your local council), including demolition permits, as part of the project.
It depends on the home you want to build, and demolition and site works add a layer that varies from block to block: access, slope, and what the existing house is made of all play a part. As with all our work, you get a detailed, accurate price before contract. A complimentary site appraisal is the fastest way to get a realistic range for your block.
Longer than a renovation, and worth planning around: approvals and demolition happen before construction can start. We map the full timeline, demolition to handover, before you commit, so you know exactly what you're signing up for.
